How to use Buck in a Bag decoys

"Brody" The Coyote

This decoy can be used in many different ways. Brody the coyote is very useful when calling in other coyotes using an electronic sequence of a rabbit in distress, a fawn in distress, or a territorial calling sequence.

For the best results, add Dazzy Doe close by and use a fawn in distress sequence. This set up is undoubtedly a game changer, and really brings in other coyote's. While at the same time Brody the Coyote near by looking for the fawn in distress and Dazzy Doe can’t do anything.

"Dazzy Doe"

Dazzy can be used all season long, and is very deadly during the Rut.

For best results during the Rut, add The Player to mix and watch other bucks come walking in. Combine Dazzy with Dilly, and create the senecio we all see, doe’s together.

"Dilly Doe"

Dilly with her head down feeding posture really shows other deer that she is unaware of their approach, and draws them in for a closer look to feed with her. When it comes to enticing other deer to come in and have a little snack along side her, Dilly is lethal. For the Best results, add The Player buck with Dilly and create the illusion of a younger buck trying to move in on a hot doe. Using Dilly Doe at dawn or dusk in an open field can bring deer into the fields earlier. When it comes to getting them bucks out of the shadows and in for closer look, Dilly gets the job done. Dilly Doe is a silhouette image printed on both sides.

"Holly Hen (Feeding Hen)"

With her down in the feeding position, Holly looks like she is calm and just feeding along, but also gives off the image that she is alone and possible lost and looking to hook up with the others. Other uses are along side with another hen, or in a group of hens also feeding, Holly Hen can also be used as the alone wondering hen that is just looking for a Tom to hook up with. But adding Junior or Mr Tim Tom along side Holly, can really fire up other Big Tom’s to come in running. Holly Hen is a silhouette image printed on both sides.

"Holly Hen (Head Up)"

Holly Hen can be used by her self when she’s looking for the others, or looking for a Tom to hook up with. She is also a useful decoy alongside with another hen, or in a group of other hens feeding. Holly Hen can also be very useful, and very deadly when she is within range of Junior, or the strutting turkey Mr Tim Tom.

"Junior Jake (Head Forward)"

When it comes to getting Big Ol Gobblers to come in real quick, Junior Jake takes care of business. For best results, add a Holly Hen or two feeding near by Junior, and watch Tom’s get all fired up.

"Mr. Tim Tom (Strutting)"

Big Ol Mr Tim Tom is the one decoy that can be seen from a good distance away, and can really make other Tom’s pretty worked up when they spot him. Mr Tim Tom with his fully fanned out feathers strutting make other turkeys come in for a closer look, but really make other Jake’s and Big Toms wanna come in and show him up. Using Mr Tim Tom in a spread of turkeys, alone, or with Holly Hen, can really create the image of him showing off to another hen, and can really make the hunt more interesting.

"The Player"

The Player buck has 3 very unique qualities in his posture, and can be used in a few different ways. With his head down seeming like he is feeding, he can also be mistaken as a buck “Hot on a Doe’s Trail”, and can present him self as unwelcome young buck in the area. The player buck also possesses the posture of “not wanting a fight”, and is seen as if he is submitting to a more aggressive buck. When it comes to bigger bucks wanting to come in for a closer inspection, The Player buck really does the trick. For the best results when using The Player buck, place Dilly or Dazzy close to him.

"Hunting Buddy"

There is no question the Hunting Buddy will create more opportunities for you to see more deer, than not not seeing when you get to your hunting spot. The Hunting Buddy was created so that when you’re not there, the animals think you are. Leaving the Hunting Buddy in a tree stand or a ground blind can be very beneficial when it comes to educating the animals that something is there. Obviously you’re not there, but just like a neighborhood stop sign, the animals adapt to seeing something, but is seems as no threat. In time the decoy becomes a part of what they see every day. Replacing your self with the Hunting Buddy when you get there, and leaving him behind when you leave, “is” the ultimate trick.

"The Landowner"

The Landowner decoy can be used in many different ways. His presence in the woods brings a new meaning to “stay off my land”. With his bright orange outfit, The Landowner can be seen from a distance, and becomes a huge deterrent to other hunters. This decoy is a must when it comes to deterring other hunters from entering onto privately own land. The Landowner decoy is also a great way to educate the animals in the area that “you are there, but you’re really not”.. and poses as no threat for the animals that see him sitting there. Simply replace his presence with your own when you get there to hunt, and set him up when you leave. Hanging The Landowner in a tree stand, ground
